Gulf Of Aden

The Gulf of Aden is a vital shipping lane connecting Europe and Asia with over 21,000 vessels transiting annually. Geographically it lies in the Arabian Sea with Yemen to the north and Somalia to the south. The Gulf of Aden naturally funnels shipping lanes through this narrow sea, leading to a high concentration of vessels in a very small area, which has led inevitably to it being the primary piracy hot spot for many years.

Despite the on-going presence of warships from NATO, the EU and independent nations, attacks and hijacking are still prevalent within the Gulf of Aden. The intimate protection that we can provide through our experienced armed teams allow us to successfully protect vessels in this dangerous shipping lane.
